We at Viterra are excited to announce an opening for a SAP Business Analyst who will take responsibility for the overall SAP business processes and contributing to the continuous improvement of the architecture function.

This role sits alongside the SAP Solution Architect and looks at the overall business from a process angle. They are responsible for the strategic target operating model that SAP operates within and, when improvements are available/suggested, consider the business processes to reflect the new ways of working. They understand the operational aspects of the business and the processes both inside and outside SAP. They liaise with senior managers, capturing the new innovative ideas and suggestions from within the business functions, bringing them back to the team as requirements to build upon and validate. They control the expectations of the business and help work with them to define/redesign working practices for the new improvements.

We have currently set our scope to recruit candidates within Europe.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Take responsibility of the overall SAP business processes and contributing to the continuous improvement of the architecture function.
  • Use best practices, you will establish business processes within the best practices for daily use within operations that are simple and have scalability, maintainability, and resiliency.
  • Facilitate the design of the overall SAP global template including evaluation of business needs and which technology solutions meet those needs, developing integration plans to deliver the target business process, and establishing standards and sustainability plans for the design.
  • Focus on business drivers and system functionality to influence stakeholders while providing architecture and delivery of the full ERP and business system vision.
  • Work side-by-side with functional SAP consultants and the business, leveraging, and learning best practices in client service, issue synthesis and problem resolution. The scope of your work will include the transactional core, analytics hubs, and reporting and visualization layers.
  • Responsible for functional quality assurance on projects and change management.
  • Join the Design Authority and provide input to the enterprise architects.

Dimensions

  • Directly responsible for: global business processes within SAP solution (FICO, FSCM, PI, GRC, Solman, BW modules all on S4 HANA)
  • Accountable for: Optimizing the Viterra SAP business processes.
  • Stand by and overtime allowance is applicable.


Your role in our network

  • Designing, advising, and presenting (target) architectures and roadmaps, and architectural guidance and validations.
  • Making complex analyses and connections between business input and the multi-year strategy
  • Knows how to share complex ideas very clearly in words and writing in English, chooses the right tone, is expressive, responds well to others and can resolve misunderstandings.
  • Feels comfortable in a demanding, analytical role and is required to maintain contact with a wide variety of stakeholders.
  • Continuing to organize time effectively, prioritize and achieve when under time pressure in the face of setbacks, resistance or when multiple people simultaneously ask for contribution. Does not wait for something to happen, is alert to opportunities to contribute appropriately without being told.

Who are we looking for?

  • University degree in Information Technology or similar.
  • Minimum of five to ten years hands on experience in the requirements gathering / fit-gap, design / blueprinting within SAP transformation programs with SAP modules FICO, FSMC (preferably in S4 HANA, SD/MM is a pre).
  • Excellent understanding of accounting, controlling and finance processes and able to translate this into SAP solutions. SOX knowledge is a pre.
  • Deep knowledge of SAP software products and in particular S/4 HANA (on-premises), and other key SAP solution like e.g. Concur, SAP HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, PI, and their functional needs)
  • Subject matter expertise in multiple accounting & treasury business and translating business requirements in best practices SAP processes.
  • Proven track record of applying expertise to deliver business impact and influencing executives to set strategic directions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills paired with the ability to develop creative and efficient solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of an organization and to work both independently and in various team settings.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage client expectations effectively.
  • Understanding of architectural applications (such as ARIS)
